chelo (Children of Hout Bay Education and Learning Opportunity) and the Hout Bay Community Christmas Choir are raising the roof at HBIS, Fri 6th December 2019, from 6pm till late!
EVERYONE is invited to this fun-filled evening of carols and community, where food stalls, beer, wine, a Xmas hamper auction and goodies for kids will be available as we celebrate together under the summer stars. All proceeds go to chelo, the parents’ fundraising body that supports our amazing bursary students from disadvantaged areas of HB to achieve a world-class education at our school.
In a first for our school and for Hout Bay, locals from across the community – from Hangberg to Harbour Heights, Imizamo Yethu to Oakhurst and Bokkemanskloof to Berg en Dal are joining forces to form the Hout Bay Community Christmas Choir. All choir members are 100% home-grown Hout Bay talent, and will be belting out Xmas favourites as well as iconic South African tunes. Talk about #strongertogether people!
